Welcome to The Monk’s House!!! We are normal, everyday people who have come together to bring you our honest opinions on music, movies, t.v., games, and basically anything else we deem necessary to bring to the forefront. We are:

The Bohemian Monk (@TheBohemianMonk)-I have a wide range of musical tastes, from old school ’50s Rock and Blues to today’s radio play whores. I have had different musical phases in my life that have led me here and to the tastes I have today. If there is a sell-out in the group, I’m your man. I will give you an honest opinion for what it’s worth. I hate movie critics, so I will strive to let you know if a movie is worth your time and hard-earned money. Look for my “Song of the Day”, “Conspiracy Theories” series, and all around news sharer of randomness.

BMJ (Bohemian Music Junkie) (@realBMJ)-A teacher and a philosopher of music, BMJ brings you new bands, new sounds, and old school love for the music industry. He is an interview machine and also brings you the weekly “Paying Tribute” and BMJ’s “Mindblowing Jam”. Keep a lookout for anything else he does. It’s good and sometimes quite random in itself.

Matt Buell (@OverkillWFO)-One hard-charging SOB when it comes to music, he has never wavered on his beliefs in his personal musical tastes. Never one to admit defeat in his beliefs, his heart belongs to Thrash Metal but has a broad range of pleasures, from Rock to Death Metal. Hard, loud, and heavy. He brings to the table the “Take A Listen…”, the “Urban Legends” series, and some middle-of-the-night and random in-your-face features. Rock on.

Josh Bash (@Josh_Bash)-Can be a bit of a snob but is a big fan of a wide variety of music, film, television and stand-up comedy. Look for reviews of albums, movies, stand-up shows\dvds, and perhaps even some interviews.

The Drunk’n Monk (@thedrunknmonk)-A rookie still to us here, his tastes in music vary, but make no mistake, it’s metal. Keep a close eye out for this one and take a look at his “Top 10 Greatest Band/Artist Names EVER!” and the forthcoming “Steamroom Rant” series. I’m sure he has some randomness about him, too.

PeetieBird (@LAPeetieBird)-Already with a popular following at our little House (and PB for short), she brings a wealth of knowledge about the California scene. No way our readers will be disappointed. Her randomness knows no bounds, so keep on the lookout for anything entertainment…t.v. reviews, movie reviews, music reviews, and what looks to be a popular topic, “Friday Fun Facts”.

ShanzoTheLame (@SHaNZOtheLame)-What a crazy, straightforward, and hard-hitter she is! With only musical tastes a headbanger would love, she can relate on all levels of any particular genre of metal, also with a passion for Classic Rock. She will give you honest music reviews and introductions and insight on t.v. and movies. She brings a different view of things and may teach something you might not know. Not a whole lot of randomness here. All business.
